RICHMOND — Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe travels to three states in search of campaign cash Friday and Saturday, winging to Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky to benefit his political action committee and the Democratic Governors Association.
The heavy travel schedule caps a week that began with McAuliffe (D) making fundraising pitches for his PAC in California, where he had traveled on official business to participate in a panel discussion held in Beverly Hills by the independent Milken Institute, an economic think tank.
The trips follow McAuliffe’s appearance last Saturday at the South Carolina Democratic Convention and an April 19 “Meet the Press” interview on the launch of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
