Rep. Nancy Pelosi gave the keynote address at a major Democratic fundraiser in Manchester Sunday night.
The U.S. House of Representatives Minority Leader spoke at the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s McIntyre-Shaheen 100 Club Dinner.
High-profile Democrats packed the Radisson Hotel, including Gov. Maggie Hassan (D, New Hampshire), Rep. Ann Kuster (D, New Hampshire), and Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D, New Hampshire).
Pelosi spoke of the importance of the “First in the Nation” primary in 2016.
“So you are center stage. The whole world is watching what is happening in New Hampshire. You have the center stage. And I know that it will be dealt with here with the dignity that you and the Democratic Party have always treated the responsibility that you have to be first in the nation,” Pelosi said.
Tickets for the dinner started at $100 and went up to $10,000, according to the New Hampshire Democratic Party website.
