The Big Red Bus paid a visit to Fresno State on Monday as part of Vermont Democrat Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign in California.
National Nurses United and the California Nurses Association have endorsed Sanders and drove the bus to the university to meet with students and outline Sanders’ support for a free education.
He wants to eliminate public college tuition as a way to lower student debt. Sanders also wants to guarantee health care for all Americans.
“We have 90,000 members in this state, and our nurses are excited to have a chance to vote for Bernie Sanders – just as California voters are excited to make their voices heard in the call for change,” said California Nurses Association co-president Zenei Cortez. For the full article click here
