Bernie Sanders, addressing the “delegate math” that some say precludes him from beating Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, responded that he’s not so bad at arithmetic himself.
And the figures, he argued, aren’t as bad as some say.
During an hour-long talk to a boisterous crowd of more than 6,000 at the Salem Armory, the Vermont senator said he still believes he can win the Democratic presidential nomination and go on to beat Republican Donald Trump in the November general election.
Noting the double-digit win he picked up in Tuesday night’s West Virginia, Sanders said, “If we do well in coming weeks in Oregon, California, New Jersey, Kentucky and other states, we still have that road to victory in winning the majority of the delegates.” For the full article click here
