The race for the White House is focusing on Northern California as Hillary Clinton stopped in Oakland and Bernie Sanders announced plans to campaign in Sacramento and Stockton next week.
Support for Sanders is evident in Midtown with fliers floating around and signs plastered on windows. His upcoming visit is a sign the race for the Democratic nomination isn’t over yet.
The Vermont senator may be trailing in state polls, but he’s going after delegate rich California. To make it happen, he’s heading straight to the capital city.
“It just means the Bernie Sanders movement is spreading like wildfire,” said supporter Damon Paveglio.
News of Sanders’ stops in Sacramento and Stockton has volunteers shaking things up at the Democratic party office. For the full article click here
